This week, after a very long time, we got the opportunity to host Greg Livingstone at the Mecoil plant, for an informal (but very productive) visit to our facility.
Firenze and his outskirts have been always very attractive and many friends in our particular business take the opportunity to stroll downtown while, at the same time, taking a look at our improvements in lubricants analysis.
In addition to the progress in new formulation of industrial oils, along with in-depth conditions monitoring of these fluids, the discussion with Greg has touched sensitive subjects such as lubricants aging and forecastable residual life, and how to assess them.
Mecoil has been always focused to R&D in order to be one-step forward regarding efficiency and productivity, developing customized solutions to critical issues like varnish deposits. The targeted objective from this collaboration is now to bring in new efficient diagnostic tools to a larger community of end users.
